Stalker was surprised to learn of a new use for spent mushroom compost (SMC) from Sky News last month. It seems the SMC is being used as a camouflage for toxic tar pools in the UK. Who knew?
It’s reminiscent of the storyline in the movie Erin Brokovich. Perhaps someone somewhere thought it might be seen as an act of bioremediation - however that is unlikely with the mindset exposed by the sky news report.
