The Irish Times have produced their annual listings of the top 1000 companies in Ireland again this year. Some big names have gone to the wall since the list was produced last year, mainly due to the pandemic like Joe Walsh Tours, but also some Brexit related casualties, such as Debenhams; Carphone Warehouse, Oasis, Monsoon are among UK companies which no longer trade in Ireland.
Once again Monaghan Mushrooms have charted in the list at the highest for any mushroom sector company. Coming in at rank 267 with a turnover of €272m and employee total of 3500, the agribusiness is doing well.
