MUSHROOM BURGER

Stalker was much impressed by the recent consumption of a mushroom burger from one of the large retailers.

The mushroom burger with chickpea and blackbeans was pretty tasty, and fulfilled the requirement of one of the daily 5 portions of fruit and veg.

Were the chestnut mushrooms in the burger grown in Ireland? Stalker could not discern from the packaging.

But one can expect to see more offerings of such tasty bounty on the supermarket shelves in the future for sure.
