WORMS ABOVE
The humble nematode worm is one of the most studied critters on the planet it would seem. A batch has been sent up into space by British scientists endeavouring to find ways to help prevent muscle wastage in old age. They’re currently orbiting in the ISS (International Space Station) 250 miles above us here on the surface. 72 bags each filled with 5000 worms went up, and they'll be back on July 6th to be studied. They’ll be well travelled worms by the time they get back.
