As Stalker is fond of noting the trends in car sales, there was an item about how, in European countries, as Covid vaccinations picked up so did car sales, as consumers prepared for restrictions to lift.
A total of 1.3 million vehicles were sold in European countries in March, up 64 percent on the year previous.
In the UK, sales were 11.5 per cent higher than the year before, in the same period. As a bellwether for economic activity one can surmise that things are looking up.
