Lurking in the fabulous Chinese eatery "East", in Armagh, one chilly night in February,Stalker spotted something odd.
There must have been some kind of mushroom dish promotion on -(we all know how much attention Chinese cuisine pays to the humble 'shroom) -as three couples dining at the restaurant were industry related. Eilish McConville and hubbie Brian were there munching merrily away; as were Bernard Coey and wife Phil, and also Mr and Mrs Gerard Hegarty.
The excitement for the night arose when someone's sizzling dish activated the smoke alarm, to the embarrassment of the diner in question.
At that point Stalker slipped out into the cold night, pondering the ubiquity of mushroom industry personnel up and down the land!
