Reports of a small mushroom venture that has come to fruition in Belfast made it onto the local television news earlier this month. The specialist mushroom farm in the heart of east Belfast is just one of over 8,500 business start-ups that have sprouted during lockdown.
Terry Vaz and his wife Judy set up the small scale exotic mushroom operation after volunteering at an organic market garden during lockdown.The venture called Hearty Growers is certainly an encouragement to anyone out there thinking of setting up a new venture.
