March is the month of many weathers as has often been pointed out, down the years, in this column.
This year the month came in like a lamb, rather than the proverbial lion; however the month bared its teeth with cold, rain, hail and wind leading up to the St Patrick’s holiday.
As the month in which spring truly begins, it could dishearten to think of more harsh weather to come, during this version of lockdown.
Hopefully and happily it looks like things are brightening up as we head toward Easter. Fingers crossed.
