Stalker’s February was brightened by the news of the Limousin Heifer which went for a record price at auction at the start of the month.

The name of the cherished cow - well Poshspice of course.

Posh went for £262,500.

Poshspice, aged one, is the daughter of Gingerspice, a three-time supreme champion of the Balmoral Show.

The stylish and shapely maiden heifer caught the attention of bidders at the auction in Carlisle.
