A burger chain in the US has a robot on payroll that is flipping burgers.
It’s memorably called Flippy the robot.
It’s white arm and claw-like hand can deal with a chip pan, test oil temperature and adjust cooking to any customer order.
It seems as though Flippy’s time has come, with minimal contact by human’s meaning food served more hygienically, the pandemic has pushed the robotic age ever closer.
The device was invented by Miso Robotics in California
