BREXIT MUSHROOMS

It has been interesting to note the resurgence of the jingoistic vein in the UK press on the back of Brexit.

Recently in the more right leaning papers everything British is simply the best.

One item on the secrets of the Great British diet gave recipes containing only produce that is grown in Britain.

Stalker noted that mushrooms were heavily to the fore of the meals described.

The artwork for the items also showed mushroom production centered on Northern Ireland, Scotland and the  Midlands of  England.
