Speaking of fry ups, Stalker noted that Gordon Ramsay came in for a bit of flak over the holiday period with his take on the traditional fry.
There were two major points of contention in the social media storm that erupted over the vociferous chef’s signature fry meal. One was the price - with the fry costing just under £20 the Scottish reaction to the Ramsay Fry was understandably tetchy.
The other point of contention was that the fry only contained one mushroom. On looking at the dish that was served up one could see that there was only one mushroom - but it was a large breakfast flat. Stalker felt the outcry on that score was unwarranted.
However when one price compares the celebrity chef fry to the cost of the basic Irish fry mentioned previously, you do have to wonder what constitutes the extra spondulix paid out. Is it just the name?
