Speaking of mushroom dishes and recipes that one sees in the popular press - Stalker has noticed a change of late.

A lot more recipes include the use of wild mushrooms, and their close counterparts, exotic varieties of mushroom.

Being an old stick in the mud, Stalker is always happier with the “bog standard” variety, your button mushrooms, or at a push large flats.

Stalker supposes that swapping in normal mushrooms to some of these fancier recipes would work just as well. Here’s hoping.
