As we approach the end of the year, it seems as though 2020 will be a year that many people want to forget. Before this year, if you said 2020 vision it was generally positive in meaning.
After this year 2020 vision could be more negative in connotation, it could come to mean the lens through which we compare years.
Although as the year draws to a close there are some positive signs on the horizon - multiple effective vaccines in development, a change of tenure in the White House, a tentative finality to the Brexit brouhaha, whatever that brings in its wake.
Then again, the climate emergency, as it is now regularly called, hasn’t gone away. 2020 vision could become a by-word for seeing things in a new light, as we edge further into the new millennium.
