MUSHROOM APP WARNING

People have been warned this autumn that using mushroom picking apps could be the death of you.

French authorities have urged people not to use the apps to identify mushrooms after faulty results led to an upswing in poisonings.

The phone apps which interpret an image of the mushroom to declare it edible or toxic have contributed to 732 cases of poisoning.
