STORM ALEX

Storm Alex which swept the UK and Ireland at the start of October brought more rain in one day than any day on record - now that’s impressive.

Saturday October 3rd had the highest average rainfall since records began in the UK.

Funny how quickly we forget though, as the lovely autumnal weather has been very dry and sunny through the middle of the month.

However more stormy wet weather has returned for the end of the month it seems.
