The headline makers in the local press in Northern Ireland were having some fun with the complaints of alleged malodorous milieu in the environs of Northway ‘s new compost facility near Cabragh in Co Tyrone.
Stalker has not been in the vicinity of late to sniff out the facts. Most mushroom sector personnel are however well hardened to the scents and smells attendant to mushroom growing and compost making.
However when one lives near to industrial facilities, one can only hope that they employ all possible methods to obviate any nasty niffs.
According to a statement by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency Northway has made modifications and improvements to the emission controls at the facility and this work is ongoing.
