In the US September is commonly regarded in most states as the mushroom month.
Mushroom producers actively push the concept and mushrooms festivals and fungi foray activities proliferate during the month. It’s now been a thing for 30 years.
Here in the UK and Ireland that same sense of fungi fun has not quite emerged. Stalker is forever hopeful.
