It seems like it’s musical chairs at the top seat in the Department of Agriculture these days.
After the so-called Golfgate scandal which claimed the job of the barely month old Minister for Agriculture and the European Commissioner on trade, as well as several others, the ministry finally went to Donegal TD Charlie McConalogue.
With a fine pedigree in the farming world, he will hopefully make a good fist of the portfolio. Good luck to him in the post.
