Stalker wonders if the new EU trade commissioner knows his country’s mushrooming museum?
The Latvian Museum of Natural History offers an annual mushroom exhibition to cater to the Latvian lust for all things mushroomy. Latvia has over 4,000 species of mushrooms, but only 20-30 species normally get the glory of a basket.
The museum exhibition groups fungi into four categories: edible, inedible, poisonous, protected.
The exhibition runs to mid-September, maybe one could make a journey there next year if travelling is back on the cards!
