Armagh Observatory reported that July was the dullest month of July at Armagh since 1986. It also reported that it was cooler and wetter than the average , according to the Observatory.
Armagh Observatory has been recording continuous weather data at the site since 1795.
July’s coolest day was the 14th with a lowest maximum air temperature of 14.2C, and the lowest minimum air temperature was recorded on the 10th July, with 7.2C .
July 22nd was the wettest day with 10.2 mm of rainfall recorded.
It was a dark, wet and cool month, that’s for sure.
At least we got some fine weather in August to make up for it.
