Nutrition Research Australia has completed a meta analysis review of all the health benefits of mushrooms.
The research review indicates that; “ health benefits include increased Vitamin D levels, reduced inflammation, increased fullness and reduced hunger, improved gut health, lowered risk of ovarian cancer and may help to manage prostate cancer, improved cardiometabolic markers, and beneficial effects on immune function.”
That’s quite a few health claims for the agaricus bisporus variety that we all know and love.
