Lockdown has resulted in sales of vegetables at Waitrose supermarkets in the UK - rising by 31 percent compared with last year after the closure of restaurants and cafes led to would-be customers to cook at home from scratch.
Mushrooms and root vegetables sales have also risen by more than a quarter.
