Stalker was taken aback by a headline online recently which read - Victorians Warned of Mushroom Dangers.
The brain did a little fillip and went into reverse and had a WTF moment. Surely it’s a bit late to be warning people of the 19th century about mushrooms here and now in the 21st century.
But the brain befuddlement lasted just a mirco-second before the “aha” moment - it was nowt to do with the Victorians of the Victorian age - and everything to do with the denizens of the State in Australia named after the famed monarch!
More of a “Doh” moment than an “aha” moment assuredly. But in these Covid lockdown times one can forgive the old grey matter a few stutters.
