Stalker was heartened to see Dr Michael Mosley in the press again this month touting the benefits of healthy eating for one’s microbiome.
One’s microbiome, as we all know, is the term for the microbes that live in your gut.
Feeding your good bacteria during the pandemic is apparently just what the doctor ordered.
In the piece, the good doctor can be seen looming over a stack of vegetables, at the front of which are several large mushrooms.
The mushrooms get a mention in the probiotic rich food section of the piece, along with garlic and citrus fruits. Once again it is good promotion for the fresh produce of the mushroom industry.
Happily enough he wasn’t mentioning anything to do with the effects of the magic mushrooms this month!
