DRY, DRY, DRY

After the wettest month since records began, i.e. February this year, we’ve now hit a run of extreme dryness.

There has been hardly a drop of precipitation in the country since St Patrick’s Day - farmers are saying that the weather now is too “hard”.

The ground underfoot is solid and there’s very little growth in the grass, if any. Mind you the whin has fair come out the year.
