Stalker was amused by a recent article on how to eat mushrooms on toast.
The article was 1500 words long and the author mused on all the variations involved in the ‘meal’ - what type of bread, what type of mushrooms, flavours and additions, and when to eat it and what to drink with it.
As to when to eat it: ”Good news for mushrooms on toast, because other than before 9am, when a deeply savoury version can be a bit over-facing, it works at any time. It is big enough to fill any hunger gap, but not so heavy it will leave you prone and groaning.”
