Stalker noted that the supermarket Lidl has come up with a new initiative to help cut food waste. It’s pretty simple and could well help in the food waste battle.
The shop is going to offer up to 90 percent price reductions on certain perishable food products when they reach their best before dates.

Eliminating food waste is one of the big challenges of our time in the retail sector.
