Stalker notes that the Tesco in-house magazine has been promoting mushroom recipes again this month.
Once again the wild mushroom variety and exotic variety are being pushed alongside the more common commercial mushrooms.
Wild mushroom risotto, with dried wild mushrooms packs and chestnut mushrooms in the mix, is one example. Mushroom and sesame ramen using shiitake mushrooms is another.
Consumers have definitely come a long way from the days that only button mushrooms made it into the shopping basket!
