Sterling positively leapt in strength against the euro after the country house cosy chat that British PM and the Taoiseach had near Liverpool on the 10th of the month.
One pound sterling rose to nearly €1.15 after the positive vibes emanating from the cordial meeting on talk that the two leaders could see a pathway to a deal.
The currency spiked again after the deal was done in Brussels, only to fall back following events in Westminster, settling back at €1.16.
