Giant Swiss bank UBS has calculated that the ongoing Brexit paralysis has already cost the UK economy £81 billion.
The stunting of economic growth due to the uncertainty around the whole thing is the direct cause of a 3.7 percent loss of UK GDP.
According to their analysts Arend Kapteyn; “For over three years now momentum in the UK economy has been held back by acute uncertainty over the nature of the exit from, and details of the future relationship with the EU.”
That’s a big slice of cake that never materialised!
