News of a mushroom farm being shut down in Australia due to drought caught the eye in July. Is this the first closure of a mushroom farm due to climate change? Perhaps.
Although Stalker is not certain on the prevalence and frequency of drought in that region of Australia, it does seem as though the climate extremes have been instrumental in the closure of the Costa group Glen Aplin site in Queensland.
