Sounds far-fetched, but a start-up in Finland has developed a new technology to produce a protein powder for human consumption out of CO2, Solar foods, a food technology company uses electricity and carbon dioxide captured from the air to create a substance that tastes like wheat flour.
It all sounds unpalatable, if not improbable, but the Finnish outfit intend to bring their product to market within 2 years. One can just imagine the queues for the stuff!
