The UK government is also opposed to the proposal it seems. At least that’s something that the two governments can agree on.
Perhaps the change of the hour will also be used this October, if they leave it to the 31st, as a buffer between a crash out no-deal and a harmonious happy ending to this first phase of Brexit negotiations.
