There was news of a horrific mushroom farm accident in Australia in mid-June. The reports on the accident made for uncomfortable reading, and the man involved sustained terrible injuries.
It happened on a mushroom farm at Ballandean, near the Queensland-NSW border. Reports indicated that the 40-year-old’s hands and arms had been dragged into an industrial machine. It is understood the man was working at Country Farm Fresh Mushrooms, a supplier of mushroom compost.
