Sales of mushrooms in America reached US $5bn in revenue in 2017, while according to Grand View Research, that number was expected to rise to $7.4bn in the following 3 years.
There certainly seems to be boom in fungi consumption across the pond - a lot of it spurred by the health message now addended to mushroom produce.
As ever, trends that take off in the US also tend to filter across the pond to us here. Hopefully the trend for mushroom consumption here will be as upward.
