Northway Mushrooms held an open afternoon on March 4th from 4pm to 6pm for interested candidates for positions as machine operators and general operatives. Candidates were invited to view the new substrate facility at Tullyvannon, Ballygawley, Co. Tyrone, the first of its kind in the UK.
Successful candidates were informed that they will “have the opportunity to progress their careers in a newly built facility and modern environment”.
Application forms and job descriptions were available from Northway Mushrooms. Elsewhere in the country, notably Tipperary and Westmeath, mushroom operations were advertising for positions in harvesting and various different positions within the sector.
