The euro pound relationship is in for another round of fluctuations according to market watchers. As the countdown continues towards the EU exit for the UK, the jitters seem more and more likely to affect the foreign exchange markets.
After a firming up of the pound against the euro, when the markets concluded that the chance of a no deal scenario had lessened, we are now into a kind of deadzone, where nothing seems to be happening. All the while the seconds hours and days to Brexit count down inexorably. Deal or no deal? Soft or hard? Green or red white and blue? Etc etc.
One thing is for sure, we can expect some drama between now and the end of March.
