The American Mushroom Institute has hired a new executive director.
Rachel Roberts is going to head up the AMI, and her main role will be overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan for AMI, including member engagement, improvements and growth, grants supporting industry knowledge and community outreach.
The AMI is a national voluntary trade association representing the growers, processors and marketers of cultivated mushrooms in the United States and industry suppliers worldwide. More info available at www.americanmushroom.org.
