Apparently after 12 years of fruitless efforts to grow truffles on the Sandringham estate, Prince Phillip has finally become the first person in Britain to successfully cultivate black truffles.
Hopefully HRH will enjoy the fruit of his labours for a few seasons yet, he can maybe export them to Malta to adorn expensive pizzas.
