Speaking with one industry supplier at the end of September, Stalker was struck by the downbeat mood on display.
Said supplier was talking about just keeping going in the face of the huge uncertainty facing the industry and the country in the midst of these Brexit negotiations.
The rapid cycling of mood within the media news cycle, supposedly characterising the current political actuality in the Brexit flux - feeds massive uncertainty into all areas of life - industry, finance, education, etc.
There’s a kind of feedback loop going on too, which exaggerates every twist and turn in the story, and effectively the whole of UK & Ireland, and even the EU is in the grip of it.
Hopefully the end is nigh - to clarify, that is for Brexit negotiations, not the world!
