How to cook the produce is always a question if one isn’t simply sautéeing them for the quintessential Ulster/ Irish/ British Fry - ( delete where appropriate).
The value of a good recipe to the industry though is probably incalculable. One good recipe using the produce can quadruple a household’s usage of the produce.
For instance one recipe carried in the January edition of the magazine this year has undoubtedly quadrupled mushroom consumption in the Stalker household - because when it's good, it gets repeated pretty frequently. The fact that the recipe contained whisky or brandy was beside the point of course!
Easy, handy tasty recipes are the thing - they do make noticeable increases in domestic consumption.
