Once again the status of the mushrooms is enhanced in the USA by the Kennett Square festival in honour of the local produce. Although this year at the festival numbers were down due to the rain falling in Philly.
The annual Mushroom Festival fell victim to persistent rain, disappointing thousands of visitors and washing out half of the borough's biggest weekend of the year. Organiser’s cancelled the Sunday of the event due to the forecast of heavy rain, which duly appeared.
