QUORN UP

The rise in vegan lifestyles has been mooted as the reason for a boost in sales of Quorn, the fungus based foodstuff headquartered in Yorkshire.

With sales up this year 12 percent so far on 2017, the company hails the upswing in vegan living as a main factor in sales increases.  

Veganism has seen a fourfold increase in numbers in the past ten years in the UK. Vegetarians like the stuff too apparently.

Hopefully the mushroom industry will also benefit from the upswing in vegan living.
