The pound took another Brexit related wobble in July, after the much vaunted plan from the British government lead to two high profile ministerial resignations and a few lesser personages exiting their posts on matters of principle.
Stalker is not even sure if the British P.M will still be in place by the time this reaches you dear reader, although Mrs May has proved to be resilient in staying in power to date.
However Stalker has heard of several more resilient mushroom growers who have now resigned, so to speak, from the sector in this past month or two. The pressures on the sector are proving to be veritably vice-like.
Expect more political upheavals and currency wobbles throughout the summer and into autumn. Interesting times indeed, if one can stomach them.
