BREXIT EFFECT?

The value of exports from Ireland to the UK has fallen by as much as 8 per cent over the past year.

Imports have also gone down, by about 6 per cent.

Is this the Brexit effect? Bord Bia will publish its food export report for the first half of the year next month.

It will be interesting to see if there is any negative effect in that - although at this point it is not expected
