Met Eireann have launched a new app and a new seven day forecast as well.
The app will have the seven day forecast for the country but also for 3,000 locations across the country - so parish by parish effectively.
The app picks up the location from your phone and can give an hourly breakdown of the weather for the first two days, then a forecast at three hourly intervals up to seven days. It can also plot rainfall patterns to five minute intervals.
So you won’t even need to look outside the window anymore to see what the weather is doing - the app will have you covered, it seems.
