Agriculture is the most dangerous job in the Republic of Ireland according to a new workplace study.
For every fatality in the sector there are 125 farm workers who are injured.
The figures remain pretty constant over the past decade, and the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) in Ireland is taking action to try and combat the lamentable figures.
Twenty years ago fatality rates in construction and agricultural sectors were broadly similar - with safety programmes and inspections working effectively in the building sector, the agriculture sector is now out on its own. Only 6 percent of the workforce is employed in agriculture and yet half of all occupational fatalities occur there.
Expect more inspections is the message coming from the HSA.
