Stalker finally got hands on the best selling book The Hidden Life of Trees.
Perusing the tome, it is apparent that the author Peter Wohlleben is completely in love with the world of trees. Stalker sneakily peeked forward to a chapter on fungal networks and how they interact with trees and forests, and it is quite simply astonishing what goes on below ground in the mycelial network.
There’s too much to even relay briefly here, but needless to say the information therein contained completely changes the way one views a forest or a tree. Well worth the few quid spent.
