Once again mushroom firms have appeared in the list of the top 1000 companies in Ireland.
Monaghan Mushrooms pops up at position 238, with a turnover of €275 million and a total number of 3500 employees, although the CEO recently revised that figure upward to the 4,000 mark.
Walsh Mushrooms, is the only other mushroom company in the fray, and it comes in at position 541, with an annual turnover of €80 million and a total number of employees of 380. Companies are ranked by turnover.
